Real quick before we jump in, I kind of wanted to give you the drill for what's coming. Now, keep in mind on Christmas morning, which, if you can believe it,

is next Sunday. We have no services Christmas morning. However, Christmas Eve, 5 p.m. We're going to have

our Christmas Eve service, and looking forward to that. Then after after today we will not have an

update or a teaching in 2nd Peter until Sunday January 8th as Pastor Mac and

Pastor Leitou are going to be filling in for me. So I will return on Sunday,

January. I'll be here for Christmas Eve. Just want to make sure you understand that.

Some of you were kind of looking at me like, Meli-Kaliki Makka, all right? All right right all right so anyway I just wanted to let you know about

that you might want to make a note of that and with that this is our prophecy update

first service we've been doing these weekly updates for many years now. And second service

is actually the sermon. It's a verse by verse study through the Word of God. We're currently

in 2nd Peter. And today we're going to look at why it is that some Christians are never

shaken in their faith, not discouraged, no shaken in their faith,

despite what it is or who it is that's coming against them.

Actually this sort of ties into what we're going to be talking about

today for the update. Keep in mind, Jesus said that the enemy comes to steal, kill, kill, and

destroy. What's he going to steal? He's going to steal our joy. What's he going to kill?

Our hope. What does he try to destroy our faith? So again, we're going to be talking about that, but also it ties into the updates.
