We're so glad that you're joining with us, that you're here today for our first service, which is our weekly Bible prophecy update.

For those of you that like to stick around, you're welcome to do that for our second service,

which is actually the sermon.

It's a verse by verse study through the Word, and we're currently in the book of James.

Today we're going to commence with chapter 2.

Our text will be verses 1 through 9, and we're going to look at why it is that we're so

quick to discriminate against people.

I know you don't do that, so this is just a theoretical hypothetical study, but why

we're so quick to show favoritism and discriminate, and more importantly,

what it is that we can do about it as doers of God's word.

that, let's get right to it. Today I want to answer this question,

the question of why it is that knowing about all that's happening in the world prophetically is actually a help to me.

Doubtless you've heard or even said something along the lines of, well, what's the point of all this

when I really can't do anything about this?

So why do I need to know this?

So it's my hope with the help of the Holy Spirit that we can all have a better understanding concerning

the importance of knowing Bible prophecy.
