It's the center of the Antichrist's world government. So how do we know which parts, though, of Scripture are symbolic and which are literal? Whenever we witness events of prophetic significance, we can rejoice in God's sovereign control of human history.

While at the same time, resist the temptation to set dates regarding end-time events, recognizing God forbids us from doing that.

All the while, though, we avoid sensationalism,

recognizing that Christ calls his followers to live soberly and alertly as we await his coming.
