Okay, how are things in Dixie?

Is it Dixie? I guess the whole South is Dixie.

You're in one of the purpler parts of the South, I guess, right?

Yeah, especially the same. I mean, we have a Republican governor and no, we have a Democratic governor and Republican senators. So it's officially purple. And Nashville is pretty blue. Maybe not quite as much as people seem to assume. But yeah, things are good. It's a pretty day. I've got a hiking trail near the house. so I took Penny out for a hike before this.

Penny is your dog.

Penny is my dog, yes. Not your wife. When you go for a hike with your wife, you don't say I took her out. That's true. That's true. Okay, good. So it's not that red estate that you would talk like that, right? Exactly. Now, to the extent that an Army brat can actually be from anyone place, though, you're from Alabama, right?

Is that that your family roots or not?

When people ask, when people ask, where are you from, I usually say Alabama.

I mean, it's kind of a complicated question for me.

When we were, right when I turned five, we moved to San Francisco.

And that's when I lived on the Presidia where you have where I had lived earlier.

I had paved the way for you.

Right.

And I, uh, to the extent that, uh, an army brat can be from anyone place and from Texas.

So we're both actually kind of southerners.

And yeah, the Procedo. God. I was just I was just out there a couple of weeks ago. I mean,

driving through the Procedo. I didn't stop there, but still makes me nostalgic a great place.
