I asked Shell about her burning bush moment. What led her down this path of awakening

and remembrance? Now it's your turn, my friend. And Adam, why don't you tell me a little bit

about your burning bush moment? What was the moment in your life that made you realize that

there's more than meets the eye? There's spiritual nature to our reality and um that there's not

only a spiritual nature to our reality but within ourselves what was that moment for you well um

you know i had some tepid connection to the divine before but i kept backsliding but this year on

222 uh no coincidence.

That number, it signifies like a rebirth, a change.

And like I associate now with like the rising Phoenix, like born out of ashes, out of, you know, with the wings spread and the fire.

Because that was the day that I broke the cycle.

And I refer to that a lot as opposed to like counting days, which I was doing for a while

because that's kind of a recovery thing. But yeah, you know, substance abuse was part of my thing,

but it was really more than just that. That was my non-coping mechanism. The place where I ended up on 222 happens to be

at the highest peak in Beverly Hills. It's at the former estate of Elizabeth Taylor, the well-known

Hollywood socialite, who has her own struggles. So I'm in this place and I start recognizing that like there's so many non-coincidences

that are happening.

And unlike every other time that I ended up and I hadn't been in it, you know, felt

that I needed to do that for five years.

Like five years of no recovery, no like sobriety, you know, definitely different up and down
