And today, I'll rush to the topic because unfortunately we don't have current events like Beyond the Realm or Ring.

Today's topic is going to be all about selective breeding and some of the more defective breeds out there.

And it feels only fair to start off with the breed that Jack and I both know very well, because they live in both of our houses, if I'm not mistaken.

The French and American bulldogs.

So what's your experience with them?

So we've raised some dogs in the past, but most of my experience came from working at the vet clinic.

My dad was a veterinarian, and there are a few things that are as bad at

being alive as French and English bulldogs are. They can barely birth their own children. They

cannot stay alive on their own for the first couple weeks. They're alive. And from that point forward,

they have a multitude of health issues throughout the rest of their life. So there's not a whole lot

they really have going for

them. People think they're cute. I think they're quite hideous. But yeah, no, definitely, if there

was a defective breed, I would say they would be one. I think the closest thing I can compare

them to is something between a toad and a garboyle with the way they sit. Like, you just see the way they sit, like you just see the way they try and sit or stand.
