Over the past couple years, we've really been digging deep on ways uniquely we can minister and really be ministered to, and that's through music. And before we play today's |
| 0:23.3 | song, I want to speak this over you. It's important to grow root and not so much followers. |
| 0:28.3 | So I want to tell you this. We live in a world that's obsessed with fame, but the kingdom celebrates |
| 0:35.4 | faith. Faith. That's what it's all about. We rather be rich in God |
| 0:40.7 | than famous and a crazy wealthy, right? Crazy rich in this world, in the eyes of the world. |
| 0:47.1 | There's nothing wrong with fame or money, but it can't have us. And I think it's super important. |

| 1:09.7 | about, allowing God to minister to us through the |
| 1:13.1 | power of His word, through worship, through songs and community. I think it's super important that |
| 1:20.0 | we don't lose sight of the root and getting really deep, deeply established in God, |
| 1:27.4 | established in this love. |
| 1:28.9 | Just like the book of Ephesians talks to us about, I love the aspect of being rooted in God |
| 1:35.4 | because when we are rooted in God, the book of Galatians talks about in due season, |
| 1:40.8 | we'll reap a harvest if we faint not. I love that. |
| 1:44.5 | And David wasn't crowned in front of crowds. |
| 1:47.4 | He was anointed in private. |
| 1:50.2 | Joseph dreamed, but he didn't lose sight of what, you know, the end result was that he |
| 1:58.6 | was in the palace, but he never lost sight of the pit where he came from and what he experienced and how he experienced God. |
| 2:06.2 | And Jesus, let's think about that. |
| 2:08.1 | He turned down the spotlight of the world and he chose the cross to give us salvation for anyone who chooses to believe. |
