you tell us a little bit about yourself and the organization?

Sure. My name is Taylor Peniwell and I'm a tribal member of Berry Creek Rancheria of

Time I do Indians of California. And I'm located in Sonoma County, which is north of San Francisco.

I am a former school teacher. I taught middle school in San Francisco for seven

years. And I am currently the founder and executive director of Redbud Resource Group. We're a

all-women native-led nonprofit that is working on addressing public health and education disparities

in Native American communities.

Awesome. So what made you leave teaching and decide to do something like this,

this organization, the Redbud Resource Group? In many Native families, we're raised with

the understanding that we're, you know, supposed to use our education, use our experiences,
