I'm Emily Kahn. Well, here we are at the end of March 2019, a date that's been clear in our site since Article 50 was triggered two years ago.

Now, as engrossed as we all are with the political twists and turns, I'd like to take the opportunity in this episode to pause and take stock and look at Brexit from a bit of a different angle.

Well, for starters, I completely agree with what you said at the beginning.

It is all too easy, isn't it, at the moment, to get subsumed with the hullabaloo that's going on in Westminster about how and when the UK will be exiting the European Union. So it's refreshing to think a little bit longer term.

Yeah, absolutely. I have a sense that if you tune out some of the noise, you'll see that the business environment is changing and has changed since the Brexit process began.

More than three years of debate in the media, around the board table, probably around the dinner table, has changed some aspects of the business world for good.
