In 1990, Steve Ferrer wrote the following words, and I thought I read them rather than try to improvise on them.

He was never on the evening news. He never had any biography written about his life.

He was simply a man who at a certain time in his life decided to make a shrewd investment.

After he got married and started a family, he purposed to spend one hour a day in prayer.

He faithfully prayed that his children would come to Christ, and when they grow up,

After a while, George began to pray not just only for his children, but for their children.

Each day, from 11 till noon, he would spend that hour praying for the next three generations.

Years of past, his daughters grew up and married men who went into full-time ministry.

Between them, those two couples ended up having four daughters and one son.

The young man became a pastor, and each of the four girls married men in full-time ministry.

The first two children born in that new generation, if you're counting, that's the fourth generation from George.

After finishing schools, these two cousins went away to college and became roommates.

One of them decided to enter the ministry and the other fellow felt some pressure because of the family legacy, but he chose not to become a pastor.
