You know, I'm a huge fan of your book and of course your radio show, but I don't think

maybe even, you know, your regular listeners, they may not know how you completely reinvented

your life and career from a very successful corporate ad exec career to a TV personality

much later than normal TV personalities would get started in that career.

Yes, definitely, definitely.

I was 38 years old.

I was at Rolling Stone magazine where I was a senior director of fashion advertising and

I really felt like I had done all that I could do in that space, not just in the Rolling

Stone space, but just in fashion advertising, I'd become very kind of bored with the pursuit

of breaking business.

You know, when you're driven and when you're very ambitious, there's a certain high that

you get when you're like hitting your goals, right?
