I have had the pleasure of watching Beverly Knight sing on stage.

Several times now, several different places.

We've done a few things together.

Came on a TV show of mine years ago. I've seen her

perform at Chris Evans' car fest and just blow people away on two or three occasions. And as you'll

discover, when you listen to this conversation, we once did something together, some kind of

corporate event. Neither of us

could remember what it was. Her voice is just something else. If you've never heard Beverly Sing

live, then please try to, and as luck would have it, she's going on tour this autumn, the autumn of 2023 at the time of

recording. I loved our conversation from knowing at a young, young age that she had this

remarkable voice to making it in the terribly competitive world of pop,

to getting the nod from Prince developing a friendship and a performing relationship with him,

then into the West End, which as we will discover, is a kind of a loop for her. I loved spending time talking to,

and I hope you will, listening to Briden and, Beverly Knight.
