Relentless motion was his joyous affliction.

Armed with his beautiful map, he would find an empty cap car and pick some random intersection.

I want to be here, he declared. Except every car knew the terrain better than he ever could. Certain requests were met with polite but firm refusals. A local ordinance forbade entry or runaway crime ruled that neighborhood or places

close by. More embarrassing was the realization that certain intersections hadn't existed for a hundred
