Could she be any cuter?

Well, she could be a bit nicer.

It's newsish with Betty Rock on The Wally Show.

There's a new study that shows that younger generation parents are not reading as much to their kids anymore.

And I think that's kind of sad to hear. It goes into further detail about why. So their best guess is that the younger generation doesn't want to read to their kids because,

well, A, it's not fun.

And B, because they have more entertainment when it comes from digital things. So they're thinking, well, as an adult, I find more entertainment in these digital things like these game boys or these...

iPad.

Yeah, things like that.

So that's more fun to my kid.

But in reality, your kid can find more fun in reading.

And also, it's a skill that they need to learn as well.

The reality is that regardless of if you're reading a book

or whether you're looking at something on your iPad,

what's important is that time.

Like that bedtime ritual that you do with your child and spending that time talking with them

and just being there.
