Welcome to Betty in the Bowls brought to you by Saturday football. We have a little bit of a lighter crowd on hand. It is just two man game that we will be playing. Bob Winkle, our usual co-host of Betty the Bulls.

He is not with us today.

He's got a bunch of things during this week of just pandemonium

in between Christmas and New Year's.

So it's just gonna be a little bit of a throwback,

a little bit of an SDS podcast throwback

with Marler and myself.

Marler, how are we feeling?

Good.

I thought you were about to go into like when Meredith got hit by the car in the office and just like doctors did everything they could and Bob's gonna make it and just like Stanley what is wrong with you?

No, man, I'm good. I'm like, you know, I'm excited the bowl I feel like this is the best

week of the year I think I tweeted yesterday it's like that week where you don't know if it's

Thursday or if it's February like there's just like not a ton of responsibilities going on.

There's the food and the house is stocked from Christmas.

And there's bowl games on from like, you know, like noon to midnight every day.

So it's been really fun.

The fact that we have this week in the college football calendar

is something that I think is pretty untouchable.

I really don't think any other sport maybe with the exception of the Olympics actually that's the only

thing that comes to mind where you can just say all right as you said you don't know if it's February, if it's Wednesday,

whatever it is, there's sports on television, and that is a great, great place to be.

We've pretty much talked about every single bowl game that's happened so far, with the exception of the two playoff games.
