And today we're talking about season 5, episode 2, titled 50% off. I don't know about you but I really like this episode.

I also really liked it. Yet again it's got some strong themes like I wrote about in

my written review on the website baldmoof.com. You've probably heard of it by now.

I would hope. This episode is kind of all about building and exploiting trust and you can see that in all of the

characters from nacho being explicitly told by Gus build up lawless trust and

then exploit it and give me the information then you've got know, it's all sort of roping Kim back into this failing

relationship that they've got. And also doing his whole, his whole con man thing right

there in the courthouse and everywhere.

Oh yeah it's fantastic.

And then you've got Mike who has built, who spent the entire series building up trust with

his daughter and her daughter, his granddaughter.

And now he's sort of throwing that all the way.

So, you know, there's a lot of trust issues in this show.

And I think they're only going to get worse and worse as the seasons go on, but I really thought it was great.

I thought, you know, the acting was superb as always from basically the entire cast and thematically it was really strong.

And we got an actual action scene which is not something that we usually get in this show.

The nacho tuck and roll over the rooftops yeah it was so good it was so good I was like

screaming at the TV below I was trying to be good I usually I try not to yell the TV too much

when we watch together because it's a little distracted or so I've heard it's what I'm going to when I'm trying to make an outline.
