On today's episode, I am speaking with Jen Hoffman and Livio Bistherso.

Jen Hoffman is an industry veteran and a business leader with decades of experience in drug

manufacturing and Livio Bistherso is an entrepreneur with decades of expertise in consumer packaged

goods, or CPG, with a focus on conscious products, one of which you might know is hippies

the very popular organic and vegan snacks.

Jen and Livio are my partners in a company that we co-founded together called Better Remedies.

Better Remedies is an over-the-counter medicine company with a gift-back component.

We believe that everyone should have the health care they need.

In America, one in four people cannot access life-saving medication and it's not because

of lack of supply.

We've created this company and our mission really is to address a health equity issue.

My conversation today with Jen and Livio is the first part of a two-part series.

Next week, I'll be speaking with Kia Williams, who runs a program called Sierra.

Better Remedies is working together with Sierra to address medication access.

Before I got involved in this business, I had no idea that there was such a problem with

medication access in this country and Jen and Livio came to me with this idea about how

to address this problem.
