Either way, our guess this week is Beth Stelling. I've been wanting to have Beth on the show

for a while now. It all started all the way back to the Christian

Scholl episode of the first season. So we were recording that one in LA and my

producer at the time Jordan Bell called in to monitor the recording and

instantly Kristen pointed out that she sounds like Beth Stelling, not knowing that I've been secretly thinking the same thing from the first time that I met Jordan.

Seriously, though, beyond just being one of my favorite stand-ups, as we talk about, Beth is a bit of a mystery to me.

I know Beth's funny, but I don't get why Beth's so funny,

and I've long wanted to talk to her to try to get to the bottom of it.

I always try to have the comedian pick the joke when possible because I'm fascinated
