My name is Beth and I'm an alcoholic and thanks to the grace of God, the steps and fellowship

of AA and sponsorship, I've been sober since June 26, 1988 and I'm very grateful for that.

I feel like I should talk slow for 15 minutes so the people who are coming at 8 o'clock

for the 8 o'clock meeting don't miss anything.

I'd hate to have to start over at 8 but as time ended they taught me 20 minutes early

is on time so I would have been here for me and good for all of you who are.

Yeah I won't mention the speeding ticket that she got doing 100 on the way but we were

immediately kindred spirits it took us 10 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel

here with the aid of a GPS.

I will say is that her GPS lies.

It's good to be here I've already met another kindred soul he told me there was water

up here I said I carry my own I still just can't get past use in a square bottle and he

said of course they don't roll out from under the car seat and I said exactly I'm trying

to wipe out all these roads and jack Daniels for the same reasons because it's inconvenient

when it comes rolling out when he even stops so anyway it's good to be here it's always

an honor to be asked to participate in alcoholics anonymous I would think Dennis in the committee

and especially for being understanding because I'm kind of passing through the day and I'm
