almost February, which is the shortest month of the year and it always feels like, oh

it's over. Don't we get one extra day this year? It's leap year?

It's that weird. I don't know. Leap years are very odd to me. I always feel bad. What do people

do when they're born on a leap year? They don't get a birthday or they just

for a fourth of the age of all the rest of us, which is actually kind of cool. That would be

creepy because you'd always have to be carded until you were really old anyway

welcome welcome to my podcast guys I'm a week late last week I had a really terrible cold

so pro-tip as a parent don't ever let your child into a ball pit because

they are literally Petri dishes for infection. I'm not kidding. I can trace every cold that I've

had for the last three years to a ball pit.

Three years y'all because it was also Kalype's birthday.

Yay! I am the mother of a three-year-old which I don't understand how that works.

It is weird. She turned into her old person the last couple months.

She has opinions, she's kind of a little jerk, and I could see her as a person versus a baby.

And it makes me sad because I see her kind of doing her own thing and struggling and kind of

forming her own opinions. I'm sure loyal

listeners to my podcast will remember that I was super, super, super careful to do

all gender-neutral stuff early on. everything's green and a little bit of lavender

mostly green and blues and in everywhere and now I think I actually self-fulfilled the

prophecy that she's obsessed with pink and black and white.

She will not wear anything with even a touch of red on it or blue on it or green on it.
