This is my first foray into podcasting and I am very excited. I have promised to do this for maybe, I don't know,

six months. But in reality, I've been meaning to do it for six months. But in reality I've been meaning to do it for six years. But here's the thing. I didn't do it. I didn't do it guys because

people were telling me to do it.

And if you know Felicia Day, you know that people don't tell me what to do,

even if it's good for me.

So I didn't do it.

Really, it was one of those things where even six years ago everybody was doing podcasts and I didn't really

feel like I wanted to do my own thing and just copy people about just interviewing people and I was like, well, when you get the hook,

get in there.

Well, six years went by.

And then I sat down and I had a hook actually,

this is the whole story of my history of

podcasting, I had a hook and I had a whole one sheet and I was going to go out with it and then I

had lunch with Chris Hardwick and he was like, what are you doing?

Just do your own thing.

So thank you, Chris Hardwick except maybe not because I

don't know what's going to happen over the next 30 minutes and if it's awful it's your

fault thank you you're a gem anyway this is just me talking you guys. Like I said, I was going to do a format and I had, I don't know, I felt hemmed in. I felt like I didn't want to be just pigeonholed or confined to like talking about travel or kids or gaming or I don't know.
