But which teams have the best young cores going forward?

So of course we will parse that down into great detail

It's including arguing over what exactly a young core even means here

But let's start Danny Dillomorph and I discussed this to some degree have discussed it in other forums

But anything you wanted to add on the sad news of Jimmy Butler undergoing surgery on his right meniscus over last weekend

Well, we're gonna get a much better sense of what this means for the timber wolves as a team

But the schedule part of this is fascinating because they just happen to have a bunch of games against good teams and a bunch of games against bad teams

And so the bad ones they should be able to win either way, but what we'll decide on the road in the Eastern Conference

Yeah, we'll have to see where the rubber meets the road there again

But considering how hard it looks like the teams in the 9 and 10 spots right now

That's actually technically the nuggets and and the jazz

But you know all the teams in that range are pushing it's going to be a stronger race to get in

I still think they're gonna make it at this moment

That's how I'm feeling about it

But it also I think the biggest impact that we're going to see us if they still make it in is that this totally changes that

Dynamic with the one and two seeds if you believe that Jimmy Butler is going to come back and be ready for a theoretical first round series

Because if they are the 7 or the 8 they have a much higher ceiling than anybody else with Jimmy Butler that could be in those spots

So right now the predictions at at 538 which assume that the wolves will play as they have with Jimmy Butler all season

Assume that they're to finish it with a 48 and 34 record the wolves currently 38 and 26

10 teams of course are in the race and with all those teams playing so well and with all the teams out of the playoffs
