It's just getting done telling Albert one of my favorite stories

for my youth about well the discussion was about how the youth sports scene

right now disallows for intrattown rivalry.

Right, we had like, yeah, it was like basically if your kid shows like

an inch of potential that he might be able to keep playing into like the sixth grade

then all of a sudden you have to send him to five different states to play games in a seven

month span.

Sorry son you uh you seem to have an aptitude with throwing the baseball.

You're going to live at IMG Academy now.

Your mother and I will miss you.

But so my little league made this great place, Dave Parker Memorial Stadium, which is now a series of condominiums.

It does not exist anymore. It got knocked down. But it had a green monster in right field,

it was very cool.

And after games, there was like an area

that for about three weeks was used to settle disputes that were generated from Little League games.

And so you would fight by the dumpsters that were like, if I'm remembering correctly like somewhere like in left field behind left field near the park

and one fight I don't know why I just brought this up with Albert but there was this one kid who was clearly bigger than the other kid and for extra insurance he

uh... before the fight took his shoes off and filled the shoes like the toes of the shoes with like the

grass like the rocks from the parking lot you know like the kind of like the medium sized rocks that are like

just for clarity sake this is now the third time I've heard this story in the last like 20 minutes. I'm still like losing it, like hearing it.

It's like he's like creating his own steel-toed
