My name is Chris and I am moderately tall. Hello there. How are you? Thanks for listening. It seems like I only just spoke with you yesterday. Oh yeah, that's right. I am touching my fictional earpiece and remembering that I did, in fact, just speak with you yesterday because we're back, baby. We're back to five episodes per week because it's

August. It's that crazy month where a nation turns its lonely eyes to fantasy football and we start

working out what players we want and what players we don't. And we'll be here with five podcasts this

week and every week here in August.

The pleasure's all on this side of the table.

And I hope you have some fun as we continue digging in.

We've spent a lot of time on the show in July and then yesterday with Dave Richard

talking about stories that matter this August,

but we're probably not quite yet to the point where we're needing to take beat reporter

fluff as gospel, not quite.

Like the drumbeat, as they say, hasn't had time to truly teach us that much.

But as always, it's the negative stuff that immediately can change

our opinions, injuries especially. But how about something like James Cook? We haven't talked

about his contract situation yet. I mentioned Terry McLaurin's contract as a huge thing that can

mess around with his rank.

And kind of we talked yesterday about the ripple effect of how that might influence other players.

I mean, James Cook, same deal.
