Hey, everybody, welcome to another episode of Know Your Flavors. Today, we're doing something a little bit different.

Instead of having a discussion with about breeders, we've got, we're going to talk flavors.

And I have two local homies here that have joined us. I've got a Scotty off camera.

Right here, dude. I'm right. He's right there. Barone. And I... Ready for the interception, sir. He's ready to interrupt. And we also have Brett from Heart and Soil Project, heart and soil seeds. And we have, everybody knows, Jaron from New Millennium. Hello, hello., you, uh, you guys are both, I think, great windows on the world as far as cannabis flavors go. Uh, first of all, Jaron is always jet setting somewhere. And, uh, he obviously gets, uh, to smoke where, whatever is local, wherever he goes. Um, and he also is, he he also is, he's an industry guy.

So he's got access to a lot of, you know, top kind of new hot cuts.

And man, he's a, he's a great grower.

So he grows them out.

And then we get to try him, which is cool.

And then I also have Brett here.

And Brett, you are a breeder.

And Brett has also traveled all over the world to

collect genetics. And he grows at some of different varieties. And so I thought these guys would be

great to talk to Scotty and maybe clue you in on what's hot. Absolutely. And maybe you can try

or do something new. I know recently you've been all hot for the lemon pledge flavor. I called Banner a couple days ago. I'm like, dude, I cut some, the emergency. I cut it down. I'm like, this is lemon pledge. I get it. And I was all excited about it. I can actually identify a terp. And I talked to Banner and he was like, nah, I don't get that, man. And then it came up with like lemon, you know, citrus tums. Was that the one? I was like, please, I'm out of here. It's citrusy, you know. Oh, and hey, don't forget, we also have Granbo joining us today. I'm here. I'm on Scotty Can. So if if you want to address this actually be the best, you can address the camera right here. Yeah. Oh, awesome. We got everybody on camera. We're short of camera, so I figured we just hang out. We ain't short no weed, though, man. All right, cool. So, you know, probably the easiest best place to start is what are you guys smoking right now literally well uh what

we're smoking right now is the garlic cocktail number seven that's specifically and uh we've had it

in here a few times it's a GMO Mamosa Cross definitely you know pretty citrus forward pretty

you know, but I some of the Mimosa Crosses out too, too much, right? It has that like too much of a tangy mimosa front. This has a nice orange front with a good skunk back. So I think it's actually a very well-balanced strain. Grows like a beast, super trite out, good color. Yeah. I mean, definitely a fun one to grow. You can kind of throw whatever at it, strong plant.

I mean, at one point in time, it was going for like, it was a very elite cut going for like something like 10 or 15K a cut. Is that still happening? Are there still $10,000 cuts out there? Absolutely. 100%. And I would say, in fact, that's more where the business is at. And, like, for example, a fairly local guy to hear, a guy named Mile High Dave, he, and he's had that one. It's the, um, uh, exactly, number eight specifically. He's won a bunch of awards with it. Dante's Inferno. Oh, okay. And he's won a bunch of words with it. But his whole deal is he's not selling her. He's running through a ton of beans. And he's running through it in his system, which again, if you're not running his exact system, you're not going to get his exact expression. But that's a whole other conversation. That's all this conversation, man. So anyway, his whole thing, though, he's, he's definitely popping beans, putting in competitions that's where he's, his hustle is, is the cut game. And really, that's, that's where a lot of the breeders have actually gone to, you know, taking some elite cuts, pop it out a bunch of stuff, finding a real winner, put it on some kind of exclusive scenario, basically the opposite of what Cap did. cap found a unicorn and then gave it out

I think it was like 20 of his closest people within the then the communities it was like

the breeding community and the the forward community at that time and then put the

rules behind it and whatnot but that was kind of a whole different thing so so

their influence on on sort of the flavor scene is in because they've hunted something, but they're making the cuts available. So it's getting out and more people are growing. So you start to see it pop up in more places. You do, but it's also one of those things you've got to pay to play. It's a little more elite. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. And they're making it to where it, the price is high enough to where not that many people
