Yeah, we've had such a hot summer here in Nashville that I think it's damaged the steering in my car.

Because when I drove by Dairy Queen the other day, it veered right into their drive-thru lane.

Then, of course, I didn't want to hurt the drive-thru attend feelings, so I felt compelled to order Blizzard with Oreos Reese's and Heathbar

mixed in. Let me tell you, those wee pieces of my three favorite candy bars blended in ice

cream, put a huge smile on my sweaty face. I'm going to have to hike 10 miles to burn off

the calories, but every blue moon, a DQ Blizzard is

worth a three-hour workout to balance my body out from the sugar high. Today's conversation is a

first on Backport's Theology because we've chosen three highlights from the entire library

of our previous 187 podcasts, and we put them together in a special

blizzard, if you will, we're calling it Best Views from the Porch, that we hope not only puts

a smile on your face, but helps you lean more fully into the unconditional love of our Creator

Redeemer. And spoiler alert, we're covering a wide

swath of biblical territory today, from Ezra Kinegdo in Genesis to Senegos and Romans.
