We finally got to see some team periods as there were two seven on seven sessions in session one. The offense looked the part as to Sean Watson hooked up with Donovan people's Jones and Jiquim Grant on some nice past plays session two saw the defense makes some plays including AJ green intercepting Jacobi Berset the big winners though from both sessions the tight and room which saw big catches from the Chief David and Joku Harrison Bryant and Miller Forestall.

A really solid day for that room to be sure a few updates for the team before things start to ramp up on Saturday. White receiver Anthony Schwartz day to day with the knee strain he suffered in practice on Wednesday.

The Browns also made a move late on Friday adding a familiar face to the defense and safety Javante Moffett who was claimed off waivers from the New York Jets.

Moffett in his third season out of middle Tennessee state spent the last two seasons with the Browns after signing with the club as an undrafted free agent in 2020.

Time for your five bites of the day center Nick Harris was a guest on Friday CBD Harris slated to start at center after two years of watching and learning.

But what many people might not know is that Harris has been the starting center for three years in a row and training camp as JC Treter was on a pitch count.

How much did that experience prepare him to be the starter in your three. I had credit like my confidence of a plan now to that because you know you get used to playing between a wide and and Joel and even with Jack and Jed you get used to playing with those guys in practice and I mean our practice reps I mean we go we go pretty hard in practice so you know it's the closest thing to the game and getting those reps it really helps you you know play faster play more confident helps you get get the visual cues you need as a center.

To see things before you go on the game field. So I mean yeah I mean I played a huge part for sure defensive coordinator Joe Woods took to the podium for the first time this season.

He was asked for his takeaways from J.O.K. in year one with a thought as well on how he wants his entire linebacker room to play this season.

You know as a rookie coming to the league you have to learn how to games being played you know college is a little bit different in terms of what they see for him his first year was really how is he going to play in the box.

I went back and watched every single play and he's another game and he was really playing on the edge like a nickel or excuse me he's playing out in a slot like a nickel or he was blitz not the edge.

So all the stuff in terms of playing in the box was new for him and I thought he handled it pretty good.

We talk about our linebackers we want we want them to look like the animals they hunt. So we want our linebackers to resemble running backs because those are the guys they have to defend.

Speaking of J.O.K. or Roussukoramo address the media as well on Friday he talked about playing fast and not over thinking things in year one.

No so that's something that I didn't want to think about you know even though this I can't I'm still move fast and if I make a mistake I'm going to make it fast.

So that's something that the coaches definitely heart going just some reference to rookies coming in younger guys.

If you're going to make a mistake make it fast because half of the time a couple of those highlight plays that y'all see it's probably a mistake on it.

So you know when you make a mistake make it fast and you will learn from it after.

Back to defensive coordinator Jill Woods his thoughts when he hears this guy saying they could be a dominant defense here in 2022.

I do like the confidence but that's something that we want to keep you know internal you know within within the confides of our wall and the defensive meeting room.

But I do like the confidence from the players I do feel like we have a chance to have a good defense but you got to prove it you can't talk about it.
