We're trying to wrap our arms around the fact for the first time since 2008.

Gribble, we will not be picking in the first round as of right now.

That's a key word as of right now because I'm, you can't rule anything out with John Dorsey and that was proven in a big way this week by the acquisition of

Odell Beckham Jr that has truly changed this this franchise was changing in a big direction no matter what but it's

really kind of kick things into overdrive with the expectations that are

surrounding this team so you don't have a first round pick but you have a

general manager who has shown any ability, every ability, to get what he's looking

for to build this team the way he wants to build it.

And if he sees a player in the first round

that's realistic to get with a potential trade,

you know he's going to pursue it.

And you have assets.

You have eight picks.

You also have a couple players on the roster who have been rumored about as potential

trade options. Those guys are probably going to land other picks, mid-round picks, and

maybe you can package something and move up and get a player that you want in that first round.

So we'll be here Thursday night of the draft. We're planning to be here. We don't plan to be very busy,

but we're ready to pounce on anything if it happens.
