Maria of Blumengrow Radio and today we're actually talking about office plants, not

house plants.

Still might be the same plants, but it's a different location.

How do we grow in an office?

Let's say you've got a 9 to 5 job,

or maybe you even just have a home office. What are some things that we need to

consider when it comes to growing in this type of environment, Maria?

So I love that plants are becoming more and more popular in offices and episode I think

17 of my show I have a doctor on and we talk about the studies that have been done

that are starting to prove that plants, like having plants in your environment

actually help your concentration and your like efficiency. It's really interesting like

the studies that are also currently being done. So if you do go to an

office I would highly suggest figuring out a way to have some plants in there. And once again

like every episode you and I are having this week, the biggest thing is what is your actual individual setup in this particular office?

So the cool thing about offices is that a lot of them have T5

fluorescent lights and those are actually used as grow lights so that's something you can

work with but also does your office have windows or are you in a cubicle that's like 20

feet from a window or just no windows at all like all of that is going to

affect what plants you bring into your space. I would say stay away from succulents. I feel like

my sister has killed a lot of succulents in her cubicle because people think, yeah, succ they're small they're cute like it'll be great but I
