Hi, hello, and welcome in to the Jim Day podcast.

As you know, once in a while, we bring you a best of addition.

And this one is the best of the rookies, now, obviously, if you've been, well, if you're

listening to this podcast, you follow the reds.

So the rookies on this team have been unbelievable, reds are ahead of schedule, because these

guys not only came up and made their major league debut, but they are performing.

And whether or not they make the playoffs or not this season, they have certainly established

themselves at the major league level and this nucleus of young players that are going

to grow together, man, next few years are going to be some special.

Now, earlier this season, I was able to sit down with in this edition, Spencer Steer,

Matt McClain, and Andrew Abbott, and they were all terrific and obviously on the field

outstanding, hope you enjoyed best of the rookies here in the Jim Day podcast.

or get to know about you at least, that people gravitate towards you.

I mean, you're a guy that you're sort of like the little brother that they pick on.

That's actually a pretty good way of describing my role in the clubhouse, you could say.

I actually make the joke, like I'll be your punching bag, you know, you have a bad day.

Just throw it all at me, I'll take it, I'll wear it.

But yeah, I just try to be, you know, a guy who can just kind of bring a positive, you

know, kind of energetic vibe every day, just try to, I kind of pride myself on just trying
