Alex, it's been a little bit of a bumpy start to the season, but I guess you got some good news today

with the Christian Campbell contract extension.

How good does it see the organization investing in a young player like that?

Yeah, I mean, he's a unique athlete, a unique player, excited about his future, and they work hard during spring training and obviously the first few days of the season to get it done.

And everybody's excited.

Yesterday we had a team function, team dinner.

You know, we were planning and doing that on the off day, regardless of, if we were 5 and 0,

4, 0 and 5, whatever, it's the off day, no families around, and we celebrated with a kid,

you know.

Actually, he picked up part of the tab, which is amazing.

That's like almost in the NFL when they make the rookies pick up the tabs on those deals as well Alex so it's nice to know that you guys went out for a little team bonding dinner as well

because obviously like we said rocky start to the season as well and raffaile

devers and his struggles have been you you know, paramount to everything else

and one of the bigger stories for the socks and baseball.

So now that you've had a chance to pull back and take a look at it,

what do you think really has been at the core of Devers' struggles?

And are you worried about him long term?

Well, you know, this is only five games, right?
