Watching crochet being around in the last three weeks ago. What have you kind of picked up about him?

A strong dude that knows his art or his craft, whatever you want to call it.

You know, working hard with a pitching group to keep getting better.

I think for him last year was last year, you know, he just got a taste of what it is to be a big league starter.

And he's eager to get this going and give us 30 starts and that help us win.

Hour two, Jones and Keith. That was Alex Corey yesterday before Garrett Crochet made another start

in Red Sox spring training. The numbers, Keith, four crochet, pristine.

Three appearances, six and a third inning.

Six hits five walks, so that is a lot of base runners.

But 14 strikeouts.

He had seven Ks and two plus innings yesterday.

Yeah, so you know what?

It doesn't matter who's playing third base when he's on the bounce.

It's just all strike.

You and I can play third base.

He's just going to strike everybody out.

This is a great point.

Maybe on Crochet starts, you play Devers at third.

It keeps him happy.

He can still claim he's a third baseman.

And you don't even need him out there. Yeah, so instead of like a personal catcher, he gets a personal third baseman.

That's a great idea.
