Going to the NFL and the Cowboys, because, you know, there's a lot of NFL news right now,

guys getting franchise tagged and released and things like that as the new NFL season kind of technically gets underway.

And the Cowboys have to make a decision on Dak Prescott. They could let him play out

this final year of his contract, but it'll be darn near a $60 million cap hit if they do that,

which obviously limits their ability to do some other things. So the feeling has been that they're going to, they need to either move off DAC, which

very few people think they will, or they need to resign him to a lucrative contract.

Then there's reports out there that he wants $60 million a year.

Jerry Jones spoke recently, Rob, and said, hey, we don't have to sign DAC this year.

Maybe we will. Maybe we won't. I'm kind of paraphrasing, but that was the sentiment.

And Dak spoke, I believe it was yesterday. He was at a charitable event. And he said to the press that came that he thinks it'll all get worked out and

seem very confident. And he understands, Rob, that to kind of sign a lot of the players

they want and have that financial flexibility that they do need to sign him. And he doesn't

seem to be phased at all or worried about not getting a deal done.

So what are your thoughts on where the Cowboys are and what they need to do this offseason?

I just, I think they should get off of Dak Prescott.

I think the known is that he hasn't been able to get them where they want to go.

He's had a few stinkers. I think he's lost five postseason games for them. And I'm not saying
