| 0:31.0 | I really want to get to this. |
| 0:33.0 | The Hall of Fame ballots are counted and we got our three guys who are going into the Hall of Fame. You know my ballot. I voted for two of the three who got in. Each year old makes it almost unanimous, one vote shy. You got beef with that one vote, or is it maybe you can understand it. That's what we're going to talk about. Yeah, that's the big thing.C. Sabathia got in who I voted for. A lot of people were like, Cici, is he really a holl? Yes, he's in the 3,000 strikeout club, 100 in, I mean, 251 wins, Cy Young and won a World Series. And that was the key part, too, is that if you wanted to nitpick, he also won. You know, he had a World Street title. But you mentioned that 3,000 mark. And the only couple people. Roger Clemens. Which would have been said not for. You know what. And Kurt Schilling. Those are the only two. All the other pitchers were in the 3,000 strike out club are in. |
| 1:30.2 | And then Billy Wagner, who I have a problem with. |
| 1:31.7 | I didn't vote for Billy Wagner. |
| 1:34.3 | This is his 10th year on the ballot. |
| 1:36.3 | You didn't get better? |
| 1:38.9 | As he pitched in the last 10 years? You ain't get better in the last 10 years? |
| 1:40.5 | Well, I wasn't pitching, no. |
| 1:42.3 | And Kelvin, that's the issue I have. |
| 1:44.4 | His first year on the ballot, 10.5% of the vote. |
| 1:51.5 | Where did the votes come from, like, over the years, and people feel compelled in his final |
| 1:57.0 | year on the ballot? |
| 1:58.4 | Oh, we got to put them on because this is it. |
| 2:00.2 | This is it. |
| 2:00.6 | And it's a sympathy vote at the end, and I don't like it. To me, you should need 10 years to get in the Hall of Fame because either you're a Hall of Famer or you're not. A lot of people are like, oh, it's not first ballot. He's the second or third. To me, if you're in the Hall of Fame, you're a Hall of Famer. |
