A woman was caught on a viral video, swimming in a dirty river after dropping her phone while joking, I'm going to be famous on TikTok.

Now, if you know anything about San Antonio, you know of the San Antonio Riverwalk.

Yeah, it's disgusting.

It is a tourist hotspot, famous for its European architecture and cruise tours.

But officials have always prohibited visitors from waiting in the water over health and safety concerns because it's a real thing.

The video captured the moment, the unidentified woman, suspended herself into the river and began searching for the phone with her bare feet.

She told her friends that she would feel around with her bare feet before taking off her shoes

and rolling up her sweatpants.

In the clip, she carefully climbed down the cement wall into the murky green water and began

to walk around slowly as boat passengers tried to direct her.

Others stood on the cement wall and watched as she desperately tried to find her submerged phone with her feet.

The crowd cheered as she fished out a flat square brick.

But the woman then screamed, yes, guys, it's an effing brick.

TikToker who shared the video added in the caption, we watched this lady search for her phone in the San Antonio River on the river walk.

She looked for over eight minutes and only found a brick and two rocks.

Never found her phone.

Locals did rush to the comments section to express their shock and disgust at the visitor's behavior with one writing, I live in San Antonio. She needs to go to a doctor right now. I would

rather be phoneless than even breathe next to that riverwalk. That is absolutely disgusting.

Another, that phone is no good anymore. Just buy another one. Don't keep trying to look for it.

I live in San Antonio. She's not finding a damn thing in that water. It's gone. The E. coli is a problem in that river that comes from fecal matter from animals and humans and can be very harmful to humans as well.

But I've told the story before. I'll talk to you real quick. I was down with a family in San Diego when my kid was in school down there. So my wife loves a good activity at the time. You always got to do some kind of activity. You can't just chill out and go to the flow. You need to have a structured plan activity. But it does not involve relaxing. This is how she rolls.
