Not sure what to do with all this success with the New York Knicks as it's been easy. It's funny because Boomer's whole take early on with the Hawks series is it's never easy as a Knicks fan. You know that. And you've been a Knicks fan for X amount of time. I've been a Knicks fan. It's never easy. You should understand it's never easy. And ever since you said that, it's been easy. Well, that's because they had lost two games in a row.

I understand why you were saying it and you were right at the time. That they were much better then. And I, even when the Knicks were really good in the 90s with Patrick Ewing and Charles Oakley and John Starks, it was always pulling teeth in those games. Because, you know, those guys weren't,

they always tried to bring in shooters at the end of their career to supplement, you know,

the hard work that the younger guys were doing. Yeah. And they could just never get the one guy

to help them get over that hump. And they, you know, obviously had to play against guys like

Michael Jordan and, you know, people like play against uh guys like michael jordan and

you know people like clyde grex and akim elijah won and things of that nature that they could

never get there they were close but this this team and the way that they had performed offensively

i mean it's it's it's i don't know it's shocking is the only word I can come up with

to really describe what we have witnessed in their last four games.

The only other time I can really remember a team being so dominant and felt like they couldn't lose in recent memory was the NLCS in 2015 with the Mets and the Cubs.

Remember they were just beating the snot out of them?

It was like every single game. They were just killing them, and it was Daniel Murphy, and it was cesspitous, and it was just like they couldn't lose. And obviously, they ultimately lost to the Royals in the World Series. That's the only other time I could think of one of my teams that was just on a run like this. And that was in an NLCS. I mean, if the, if the Knicks get to the Eastern Conference finals and now do this as well, I mean, that's going to be even more impressive. But, you know, the Hawks shouldn't have been a problem. They do match up well against the Sixers. The Sixers got past the Celtics team that probably would have been, you know, maybe even a tougher matchup,

depending on the health of Tatum.

But, I mean, Joel NB, he's just, he's not going to be able to make it through another series being dominant.

You could just see him out there.

He just, he's so slow on the defensive end.

You know, he's in massive pain when he gets hit in the abdomen with his appendicitis surgery only 20 days ago. He's just,

he's always hurt. He's always tired. I mean, I just, I can't, I can't imagine that he's going to

wake up and dominate in any sort of way in this series. Well, I think Paul George said it perfectly yesterday from a 76er standpoint after the game was over when he basically said, well, you know, it takes four to win. You know, it's not just one game and you get extra points for beating a team as bad as the next beat them last night. Yeah, exactly. So, I mean, you know, he is a grizzled vet.
