I feel better. Maybe not better. It just to me solidified my feelings coming in of the season.

All year long, I'm saying wait till the postseason, wait until they get fully healthy. Right now,

with now three games to go on the regular season, Nick's going to be locked in pretty much

that third spot. I know they need to win one more game or have the Pacers lose. But right now,

there is healthiest or as healthy as they have been all year long. They're at their

healthiest at the perfect time. And I thought they played a terrific game. I don't think they played

their A game against the Celtics, who are compromised now with the status of Jalen Brown. And they

came up just short. I felt, now look, you want to win the game, but I feel better about the

next chances going into the postseason this year than I did a year ago.

Listen, I'm not into consolation prizes at this point for this team.

Not after last year, not after the regular season this year.

I do appreciate the effort.

I mean, these guys play hard.

I think they're a little less than what you need to be to be a champion.

Now, that doesn't mean that something crazy can't happen over the next couple of months.

That doesn't really happen too often in basketball.

You'll get that occasionally in the NFL.

You'll get that occasionally, certainly in the NCAA tournament, not this year with the ones,

but you will get that in other sports, a hot goaltender.

You ride him to the finals, whatever it might be. I just feel like if the Knicks were to play the Celtics and the

Cavs, but the Celtics for now, 10 different times, not only would they lose probably seven,

I think that they lose many different ways, which is what frightens me. It's not like they can only lose if Jason Tatum's amazing, which it was.
