Well, murder is an ugly thing, but when a police officer gets murdered, it's a really, really ugly thing.

We have an opportunity now to speak to Kim Klingenbroomer.

She's going to come on the show along with the fiancé of Deputy Ryan

Klinkin-Brumer, who was shot back on September 16th. He was stopped at a red light outside the

Palmdale Sheriff Station, just 30 years old. A man who family members say is paranoid schizophrenic

by the name of Katnios-A-Salazar apparently drove up next to Ryan's patrol car and shot him to death.

And of course, just days later came the news from Melley County District Attorney George Gascon.

He would not seek the death penalty in the killing of the deputy.

Even a cold-blooded intentional murder is not enough for Gascon to do what the law says should be done.

These are the kinds of cases for the death penalty.

So Kim Click and Brummer is the mother.
