The trajectory of the Giants then and now.

And we talked about this.

I think I talked about it with either Celo, Friday, or Willie on Wednesday last week.

And that is, so I go back to the Chargers win.

And you look at what the Chargers are, a really good football team.

Jim Harbaugh is a fantastic coach.

And I was lucky enough to do Giants

Chargers for Cumbus Media Networks back in. I was that the fourth week? It was week four, I think.

Four. And the energy in MetLife Stadium, when the Giants go down on the first drive, and he's got

that quarterback draw for 10 yards, I think it was 10 yards and scores the touchdown.

The feeling in MetLife Stadium was, like what was that? That was awesome. And you've got Malik

neighbors catching passes. Then you had the play where he gets injured. And it was like the air was let

out of the balloon.

But Dart continued to play relatively well for what they would let him do in that game.

And they won.

And defensively, and this was the biggest thing that I took from that game when I walked out of that stadium.

It felt like the defense believed.

It was as if we don't have to hold the other team to three points to win now. We've got, and I know it sounds crazy because I scored 100 points against the Cowboys the following week, and it was their fault they lost. You could make that case. Yeah, the prior week. But for years and years, you know, they had trouble scoring. They would never, it was the kick and field goals. then they go in when they win the following week against the Eagles. And at that point... There was a loss to the Saints in between. Oh, that's right, where they turned the ball over. Yeah, they just turned them over six times. Right. So you had that game won, but they turned it over six times. Charger win, Eagle win. You go into Denver. Yeah. And they were kicking the crap out of the Broncos at mile high. Yep.

And then the interception. Yep. I still cannot believe where we were at half time, middle of the third quarter in Denver to where they were and the assent they looked like they were on to where they went to. No. It is fascinating to me. It is. No, I mean, that moment in time, there's no doubt about it. I want to, because what happened in that fourth quarter from the interception on? Because, yeah, they were up 19 to nothing, blew the game in the fourth quarter, and scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter and still lost the game. Like that moment in time, and it felt like you're right, you mentioned the defense, they were imposing their will in that game.

They shut out through three quarters dominating that Denver team.

And then that interception and then the collapse and something changed in the team.

And I don't know what it was.
