Major League Baseball issued a 113-page operations manual to all club employees before the start of this shortened season.

It outlines everything from on-field rules to testing procedures to what happens if a player test positive.

But Sunday afternoon, the status of the game amid a coronavirus outbreak was decided, and this again,

from the Philadelphia Inquirer, on a group text between Marlins' players.

That's right, a group text.

Miguel Rojas, who's their de facto captain, says, quote, we made the decision that we were

going to continue to do this.

We're going to continue to be responsible and just play as hard as we can.

Don Mattingly, their manager, said he's kind of the unofficial captain of the club.

He's always texting the group, getting the feelings of the group.

So when we're dealing with situations of things, that's usually who we're working through.

Okay, that's not actually.

There is no, in the 113 page manual, there is no page that says, hey, in case of coronavirus

outbreak, ask your de facto team captain to send out a group text to figure out if dudes
