I don't know if he's as starstruck as I am.

He grew up in the same area I grew up in Orange County, Southern California.

He's Sam Donald out of USC, getting ready for the NFL draft.

And four years ago, you're in San Clemente, what, probably playing high school hoops right about now, right? Yeah, I'm just as starstruck as you, by the way. I mean, it's pretty neat. And, like, people are coming up to you. Like, I love your game, man. Can't wait to see where you go. Bradshaw is trying to give you advice. don't take any of Bradshaw's advice, by the way. So what's this?

Did you watch the Super Bowl as a kid? Yeah. And you don't have to lie to me and tell me like, but like you were all around athlete. Like one of the things is you did not specialize, like so many guys specialize. So when football was over in high school at San Clemente,

you played hoop, but did you still pay attention to the NFL? Absolutely. The NFL's been a

huge part of my life growing up. Actually never had a team, to be honest with you. I always grew up,

you know, loving USC and the Trojans. But yeah, I mean, the NFL has played a huge part in my life.

I've always been curious if I ever got the opportunity to go to the league. You know, it's always been a dream of mine. That's why my answer to all these questions about where do you want to go all this stuff, it's like, this is a dream of mine, you know? It would just be special to go anywhere and to live out that dream. So I'm just thankful to be here with guys like Dan Marino, Terry Bradshaw.

Yeah, Dan Marino's got to wait until you're done, by that.

That's pretty cool.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy being here, but I'm excited.

Okay, so last time we spoke, you said, hey, look, I just, I got to see how things lay out before I make my decision. You've made your decision to enter the NFL draft. What, what did you have to actually put down? What, what, what was the deciding factor? Um, I think just the fact that, you know, I'm, I'm projected to be, you know, a top pick, and that really wouldn't change in a year. So it's, you know,

my thinking was why not, why not be able to go there as fast as possible, learn as much as possible

from NFL veterans who have been there and done that. And, you know, I think just with the same

mindset of guys, you know, leaving to go to the NBA after their freshman year of college,

it's just you want to get your feet wet and you want to learn as much as possible, as fast as

possible. And, you know, I think that opportunity led me to, you know, choose to go to the NFL.

All right. So you're going. Do you have any sense of where you're going? Obviously Cleveland's got that top pick.
