Hey everybody, Merry Christmas.

Peter and I are taking a break for Christmas in New Year's and well-deserved.

We've done 44 episodes this year and thanks for listening.

So today, a kind of a Christmas treat for you all, the day the President laughed.

This is the best of, but the first time we ran it in 2020 for some reason, we kind of

buried it behind an interview with the great Daniel Lithwick.

You know, when Donald Trump started running in 15, I watched him a lot and I noticed something

which I never saw him laugh and I have not seen him laugh since.

The day the President laughed is a fable of sorts, we're just how awful Donald Trump is.

In our story, Jared and Ivanka and Don Jr. and Eric realize that they have never seen

their father laugh and maybe just maybe if Trump laughed just once, it would make their

lives well tolerable.

So they announced the contest whoever can make Donald Trump laugh will win a family high

rise in Midtown Manhattan.

There are some twists and turns along the way and I know you'll enjoy it, maybe even more

the second time around.

Now before we go to the day the President laughed, I just want to make a pitch for an organization

called Highest.

Highest is an organization that has been assisting refugees from Eastern Europe for over a century

and they are assisting those fleeing the war in Ukraine, providing direct assistance
