How, were you surprised by this hire, Casey?

Did you, you've kind of, you haven't been one of the people that keeps reporting the same thing we've been here in, which of course was Matt Lloyd and Mike Anori and maybe the guy from Dave Lewin from Boston.

It was out of control how much reporting was done that Matt Lloyd was the man.

I wonder how disappointed he is this morning because he's not the man.

And by all accounts, the hire of a new general manager came down to the guy that won

the interview process.

Bryson Graham just kind of did a great job when they were interviewing people for the job.

Yeah, I can just tell you that I know for a fact that all four candidates were impressive,

all four candidates interviewed well, and the Bulls went into that finalist phase with a very

open mind. So I steered clear from calling anybody a frontrunner

throughout the process because of kind of what I'd been hearing. And it was a hard decision

for them because, like I said, I think once you got to this stage, there were four impressive

candidacies and four impressive interviews,

and there were a lot of strengths to each candidate, and ultimately they chose Bryson for a variety of reasons.

I think one thing that really stood out in his favor is his youth,

and just the fact that they feel he can really take

a swing on upside here. There's some recent hires that, you know, perhaps you can draw some comparisons

to in Charlotte with Jeff Peterson and Detroit with Trades in Langdon, with whom Bryson worked

in New Orleans. So that's kind of the hope is that he can kind of become one of these young rising stars
