That was a disgraceful performance by the Denver Broncos, as Kansas City able to

comfortably win the Monday night game, the closed to week eight in the NFL, the Chiefs

benefiting from the early gift by Trevor Simeon to jump out by two touchdowns.

And as they say, I learned this in sports casting class.

They never looked back.

They win by 10.

Kansas City, they cover the spread, unfortunately for me, as a gutless effort by the Broncos there, as they

meekly go down. If you love field goals, the Broncos are the team for you. And they drop now

under 500 of 3 and 4. Kansas City able to win a game with their defense, although was it

their defense or was it a bunch of just early gifts by Simeon who was all over the field?

Well, let's talk about this.

Let's discuss the Monday night game, a 10-point win for Kansas City.

And a couple of things that stood out about all of this.

First of all, from the Kansas City side of things, you had a case where Alex Smith and

Kareem Hunt did not dominate. This was not a night where they were on fire. In fact,

Karim Hunt, the first time he'd been held under 100 yards this season, he's a rookie. And Alex Smith had a very pedestrian performance.

He was at 6.5 yards per attempt.
