It seems like football is a much bigger deal than basketball,

but there are those that just can't get enough even in basketball,

and they'll spend extra on the recruiting services.

I bring this up because Rick Patino got what he said at the time was a lucky recruiting win.

That lucky recruiting win turned out to be a death sentence, apparently, for Petino at Louisville.

He's out.

Rick Bettino's representative revealing that he has effectively been fired as the head basketball coach because of the ongoing FBI investigation, a federal bribery investigation.

Now, technically, Patino is on administrative leave.
