We are told the Major League Baseball All-Star game no longer matters.

This time it does not count as they change the rules and it goes into implementation this year,

the All-Star game, which is on Fox.

Next week, it has been marginalized into exhibition status.

However, that has not stopped the outrage machine for being cranked up because on Sunday,

they announced Sunday night the gala lineups for the American and nationally all-stars

who's in and who didn't make the cut, the initial cut, and the snubs.

Oh, the snubs!

People love the snubs for the 2018 All-Star game.

Now, leading the way, depending on what region you happen to reside in, you have some combination of the Big Maple, James

Paxson, didn't make it from the Mariners, Trey Turner of the Nationals, not invited.

Jed Lowry and the six A's fans upset about that. Max Muncie denied for the Dodgers.

But it was another player who earned the distinction of gaining an overwhelming defense.

It wasn't Paxton, it wasn't Turner, it wasn't Lowry, it wasn't Muncie, it was somebody else.

Who was it?

That would be the most nondescript player out of the bunch who did not make the All-Star roster, at least the initial roster.

That would be the name, the pitcher by the name of Blake Snell.

Who the hell is Blake Snell?

Well, he's a pitcher for the Tampa Bay raise.
