So Roach has all kinds of credibility, and we believe Wage, who's his own entity.

But he says that James Dolan, the owner of the Knickerbockers, is deciding right now whether or not Phil Jackson will remain on as the big cahuna in charge of New York Knicks basketball.

So the words weighing the future thrown out and questions of whether or not Phil Jackson can handle the job.

And so what do we make of this?

What do we make of the possibility of Phil Jackson leaving the Knicks?

Now, my position on this is I keep Phil Jackson. I keep him around. I believe Phil knows what he's doing. And now he's made some mistakes. There's no question about it. He's made

plenty of mistakes. But you've got to remember here. And the thing that the Nick fan doesn't

seem to understand is you're dealing with James Dolan.

And while you might be excited for the moment and have some euphoria at the idea of Phil Jackson being gone,

that he's going to be the fall guy.

You're going to blame everything on Phil Jackson.

You're not going to blame anything on the lethargic Carmelo Anthony.

And I know that's conventionalism, right?

Blame Phil Jackson.

He hasn't played a game since the 1970s, but it's his fault that these moves have not worked out.

I get it.

Carmelo Anthony's been a slug since he got to the Knicks.
