A rather long, drawn-out night of nonsense.

The NBA's debut, they broke their cherry.

They popped their cherry.

An Academy Award-style gala event to hand out awards.

And it reached its crescendo about 15, 20 minutes after it was supposed to have already ended.

At least on my television, they had a lot of two hours for this awards show,

and it was at the two hour and 15 minute marker so that the MVP award was handed out.

And I'm still stunned.

Russell Westbrook won the MVP of the NBA over James Hard. Now, I don't vote for the MVP.

If I had voted, I would, of course, voted for James Harden.

That's who should have won the MVP award.

But I wanted to talk about this.
