And back at it again. And, the NFL the main rule change this week was the targeting rule

and the reaction continues to trickle in drip by drip of players just going nutso on this.

Now, the story that caught my attention, though, is something that is not yet a rule

change, but we're headed that direction.

And it's on the endangered species list for the game of football.

The NFL has essentially issued an ultimatum to the players, and it involves special

teams.

And I don't know how much this was talked about today.

I'm very busy, but I, actually, I wasn't that busy.

But anyway, if you've not been paying attention to this scuff, because some people aren't into the rules minutia, they're not into that.

But I found this one interesting, and it involves a play that's been around since the beginning of football.

I'm pretty confident saying that. The kickoff. And the ultimatum is the kickoffs have to get safer.

And if they don't get safer, then it's going to go the way of the dodo bird.

This comes from the president of the community-owned Green Bay Packers.

Mark Murphy, a suit for the Green Bay Packers, disclosed that the beloved competition committee, the gulog at the competition committee,

the recommendation is to eliminate the play.

We will make it vanish.

It will no longer exist. We will swipe it from the face of the play. We will make it vanish. It will no longer exist.

We will swipe it from the face of the earth, the kickoff.
