A much anticipated accomplishment in the NBA, the Cleveland cadavers taking on the San Antonio

Spurs and the Cavaliers did what they usually do when they play better teams.

They lost.

But that is not the story.

The story is LeBron James. LeBron James, who had congratulated

himself in one of the most LeBron James-like moments you can possibly have. Just in case you

thought he wasn't a douche, he had to announce that he was a douche. I mean, it's just wonderful.

I would also, you know, I was going to do this, and I thought, well, what the hell?

I won't do it.

Because I was busy doing some other stuff.

But I was going to post, I want to thank, you know, young Ben Mallor for the Marconi Award that I'm about to win.

You know, because, You know, why not? I know I'm going to win the Marconi Award in broadcasting, so I would like to thank my,

no, no, I'd like to thank my younger self for not being a better student and, you know, being,

you know, being pigeonholed into overnight radio.

If it's a better student, I'd be like a lawyer or a doctor or something like that, but no.

If you missed it, and God knows, I don't know how you could have avoided it, maybe you just had the radio off.
